I can’t believe I made it to Episode 200!! Granted, I should have hit this milestone last summer. (Thanks Corona.) It’s such an amazing accomplishment for any podcast to reach this many episodes. I can’t believe I actually made it this far. I’m so humbled that there’s anybody still listening to my weird ass after all this time. I want to thank each and every one of you who has listened over the last 5+ years that got me to this point.

That said, I decided that in honor of my 200th episode, I would do a little Q&A session. So I reached out and got some, let’s just say, “interesting” questions from some listeners. I’m not going to go through all of them here. You’ll just have to listen to the episode. *wink* But I am going to talk about some of my favorites.

This time I have Donna Johnson from the “Broken Compass” podcast, which is a very new podcast featuring Donna and her best friend Angela talking about, well, all of the things they like to talk about. It’s a little bit true crime, a little bit conspiracies, and a little bit just a couple of moms bullshitting. Like me, Donna is the stay-at-home parent to her two boys, so this conversation gets way into all of the “fun” of being a parent that they just don’t warn you about.

It’s that time again. Where I have one of my podcaster friends on to talk about whatever comes up. This month it’s Kate Wallinga from “Ignorance Was Bliss” and “Lifeworld.” Except this time she was invited to be part of November’s National Podcast Post Month interviews. After editing down that episode, all the stuff “left on the cutting room floor” was just too good to throw away, and made for a pretty good episode itself. Of course, we talk podcasting, but also about the relationships we’ve formed from the podcast community, and the psychological side of why we do this crazy thing called podcasting. In a nutshell, “we’re all narcissists.”

Kind of an uneventful week I guess. We went to the first food truck event of the season, (now that the sun wont cook all the vendors inside their trucks.) I give an update on my whole “being sick” thing. No news theme this week, just stupidity. There’s a guy who got fired over his attendance record, an idiot who tried to fight a grizzly bear, and an unplanned rant inspired by Moby’s new neck tattoo.
