Spring break is here and the boys are home, so what does that mean for me? It’s time to do some spring cleaning. To be fair, we also decided to make some fresh lemonade, (because Arizona.) In the news I’ve got another fake kidnapping, a questionable use of a t-shirt cannon, and what can only be described as the worst sexual experience imaginable. Taking a Leap and Nerding Out: ODO 120

With all the nerdery in the news this week, I decided to take a break from my normal ramblings and nerd out a little bit. This week saw trailers dropped for the upcoming Disney sequel, “Mary Poppins Returns.” We also got the first trailer for the next film from Marvel studios, “Captain Marvel.” And finally we got an announcement that Netflix would be working with the show’s original creators to make a live-action series of “Avatar: The Last Air Bender.” I take a small sidebar to inform you of a tragedy that struck a podcasting brother in the form of Hurricane Florence. And last but certainly not least, in Recommended Listening, I actually talk about a show that I edit. (No I’m not being paid to do it either.) This week’s feature goes to “Leap Like Me” with Lisa Hoashi.

ODO 107: I Don’t Need To Be Rich

The Livestream For The Cure is over and they managed to raise over $11,000 for the Cancer Research Institute. I’ve got a small sidebar about my son and coffee, and this week I came to realization that I don’t really want to be rich. The news brings some questionable headlines, an irritable barber, and an absent-minded astronaut. At long last, the time has come for this week’s Recommended Listening feature: Who’s Right w/ Doug and Anthony.
