It’s been a while so this one is EXTRA LONG! I recently got my spring garden planted. This is my most intentional and, from an output perspective, ambitious planting yet. I got sidelined hard by a couple of kidney stones. And last but definitely not least, I address the two major family losses that have kept me away and the toll it’s taken.

This week we started the daunting task of deep cleaning our entire house. Can you tell I’m excited? In the news, I’ve got a very unlucky fisherman, and a brand new vodka from a rather unusual source. Plus, a full update on our fall/winter garden.
While I don’t usually like to appear on camera in general, I recently decided to film a little video of myself working in my garden. In short, my dog dug up one of my garden beds shortly after I had planted seeds for cantaloupe and watermelon. So, I had to clean up the bed and replant the seeds. Spoilers: my phone overheated and died mid video, so I had to do a follow-up and was unable to show myself actually planting the seeds.
It’s my first time really trying to make a video for my Youtube channel so I’m totally out of my element doing it, but it was fun. If you have any other ideas of other stuff you’d like me to make videos of, let me know in all the standard locations.

I know I promised new music and all the segments and stuff, but ya know what, stuff happened and I didn’t get that done. So in the mean time, in honor of the start of the new year, I’m gonna start to tell you about what I was up to last year and then get hung up on a couple of those things, including a return to home schooling, an update on my autumn garden, and, oh yeah, how I sliced off a chunk of my thumb.
