Desks, Distance Learning, and Non-Corona Gardening w/ ReAnna: ODO 183

I didn’t plan it this way, but it’s time for the “Guest of The Month!” And because I wasn’t planning to record yet, and she was bored, I’m talking to my wife, ReAnna.
(Seriously, recording this was all her idea.)
As much as I love my my guest episodes, I’m always excited when my wife wants to sit down and record, because no matter what we’re talking about, we’re still being silly and giving each other crap the entire time.

This time around we’re going deeper into what we’ve had going on around the house during the age of Corona. We talk more about “distance learning” and just looking forward to school coming back next year. ReAnna shares her college journey from curious history major through theater and now graduating from ASU with an education degree on her way to a Master’s in Library Science.

Gluten Free Migraine Meals: ODO 178

This week I start off with a little housekeeping, and I explain why it is I’m moving the show to a Monday release. Long story short, it allows me to pre-record shows and work on getting them finalized over the weekend, which means hopefully having consistent releases.
I also talk about my recent art accident and it’s addition to the ODO Merch Shop.

“Chaos Practice” Now available in the ODO Shop

After a break for “Some Kind Of Brown,” I get into the main topic: gluten free meal planning by way of my wife’s migraine medication. It doesn’t sound like two things that are related, but I guarantee you they are. And it has caused us to make some calculated changes in our weekly dinner menu.

Practical Valentine’s Chores: ODO 175

It’s Valentine’s Day! For some it’s a time to get romantic and maybe shower your significant other with gifts. For me, it’s kinda complicated. First off I have no clue what to get my wife. All of the standard gifts either wont work or are too expensive. That and I’m just too financially practical to justify spending the money for a lot of things.

Then I get into my kids’ outright refusal to clean their bedrooms, even to the point of doing other chores that they aren’t responsible for, just so they don’t have to do the ones that they are.

Finally, another founding member of the Podfix network has announced their ending. We’re saying goodbye to “Weird With You.”
