In part 10 of my NAPODPOMO journey I’m getting to my work trip to the Grand Canyon this past weekend. I had originally planned to talk more about the details of the trip, but I realized that nothing really happened. We went up for work. We visited the Grand Canyon as part of it. But I do really love the environment of Arizona. I can go on about that almost as much as I can talk about podcasting.(more…)
Since June is Pride month, I decided to be a little pandery and invite the only gay podcasters I know, Chris and Cody from BSP: Believer Skeptic Podcast, on as my Guests of the Month.
If you aren’t familiar, BSP is a paranormal/ supernatural podcast with an LGBT twist.
We talk about our families and how theirs reacted to them “coming out.” I share my experiences having a gay sister who is also pagan and how our family dealt with my wife and I “coming out of the broom closet.” We rip on YouTubers a bit, and I freaked them out with some creepy supernatural stories from my life.
Another week, another dust storm. Of course it happened right after I washed my van. It’s the last week of Summer vacation before my boys go back to school and, as usual, the school supply list is utterly ridiculous. But we did seem to find a new tool to try and make our boys behave in the form of Lego Harry Potter. Plus, the launch of “Mole Hole Talk Radio.” The release of The Story Behind book. I’m thinking about starting another podcast with interviews. And the proper return of the “Jackass of the Week” with a man too cheap to pay for a car wash.
I’m feeling a little out of sorts this week. Maybe it’s because I’m recording on tuesday. Maybe it’s because the boys and ReAnna are home all week on spring break. Either way I just feel weird. But I did have a very scenic weekend of driving for work. All that driving made me realize how much I love landscapes. Chris the Mole Man brings his unique kind of tribute to the passing of Stephen Hawking. The news is loaded with all kinds of stupidity from golden dog jackets to putting a hit on a hitman. Finally, I kick off the Road to the Livestream For The Cure, with PodFix members “More Gooder Than.”
