This week I find myself in a sea of parents at one of the most uncomfortable events of the year… Children’s winter concerts. Throwing the season out the window, in Recommended Listening I’ve got a new take on a horror movie podcast with “Kim and Ket Stay Alive… Maybe.” And I wrap it all up with a failed marriage between a woman… and a ghost.
Another week, another show where I don’t have a jumping off point. But that quickly takes a turn into my revelation that, when it comes to my friendships, I’m kind of a troll. But I’m a friendly troll. In a long overdue Recommended Listening, this week I’m talking about the Rough Giraffe Podcast. And finally, the Jackass of the Week brings us a couple of Detroit police precincts who really need a lesson in communication. Download mp3
I’m back from our regular summer vacation, and I think I need another one. We always a good time, but, let’s just put it this way, would you want to spend 20 hours in a van with 4 screaming boys? But now it’s time to get back to work, back to business, and back to talking about myself because that’s what I do here. Well, not just about myself. It’s also time for another Sunshine Summit! It’s been a busy week at the newly dubbed ODO Voice Productions. Editing, meetings, and lots of forward momentum in business. Of course that doesn’t mean that was all I had going on. It was a week, oddly, full of medical visits, but not in a bad way. In the news, it seems that everything revolves around death, if maybe only in the slightest way. Plus a couple of jackasses stopping traffic with their public “affection.” And, I’ve got the results of my completely self serving twitter poll about what you like in the show. Download mp3
(Download) I’ve been in kind of a funk lately. Leading up to the Livestream For The Cure, a number of my friends, some of them involved in the event, have been slapped by the evil bastard that is cancer. So I talk about that for a bit. Short show this time around. I originally didn’t intend to release this episode but changed my mind. Not a lot of laughs. To lighten things up I continue with my coverage of LFTC guest with this week’s featured podcast, “Who Spiked The Puns?”
It was such a blast getting to be part of the Sunshine Summit 2018. Technical difficulties aside, it was a great time and thank you again to Heather Welch from Sunshine & PowerCuts for allowing me to be a part of this awesome event.
I’m a whole new kind of sick this week, having woken up with a sinus infection, but that wont keep me down. This week I’m chatting about having recently moved our youngest son out of our bedroom at last. The news brings us tales of relationships, from finding a new boyfriend, to marriage complications, and all the way to “death do us part.” The “Jackass of The Week” proves that it’s never too early to get a good deal. Finally, I make a hard tone change for this week’s Recommended Listening feature, “Sunshine and PowerCuts.” (download mp3) -WEIRD NEWS- Thai Woman Puts Sign On Home To Recruit Boyfriend A 65 year-old, double divorcee, from Thailand has taken an unconventional step in trying to find lifelong love.
