ODO 101: Old Reliable “Idiots”

We’re back to “normal” this week. At least as normal as things really get around here. I’ve been spending a lot of time working on building the website and the patreon for the show. Of course that means I haven’t been nearly as productive as I’d have liked to have been. But we did get a new Shark. That’s exciting right? The news this week gets us back to those standard stories of drugs, bad judgement, and plain old stupidity. The “Jackass of The Week” puts a new twist on the old excuse, “it’s not mine.” Finally, in Recommended Listening, I’m getting back to guests from the Livestream For The Cure with another Phoenix based show: BSP: The Idio[t]Syncracy Files.

What do I have in common with my dog? Both of us have had major weight shifts lately. On a similar note, almost all of this week’s news is about breakfast food. I’ve got garlic coffee, cops confused by donuts, a shortcut to chicken and waffles, and a little “green” something to help your appetite. He claims that his drink, despite having an aroma of garlic, tastes like regular coffee and is completely free of caffeine. Man Awarded $37,500 After Cops Suspect Doughnut Glaze is Crystal Meth  A Florida man was arrested during a traffic stop when the officer saw a white substance on the floor of the car that he believed to be crystal meth. Lab tests showed it was in fact just doughnut glaze. The man received a $37,500 settlement after suing the city for false arrest.
