It’s guest time again Oddballs. This time I have Donna Johnson from the “Broken Compass” podcast, which is a very new podcast featuring Donna and her best friend Angela talking about, well, all of the things they like to talk about. It’s a little bit true crime, a little bit conspiracies, and a little bit just a couple of moms bullshitting. Like me, Donna is the stay-at-home parent to her two boys, so this conversation gets way into all of the “fun” of being a parent that they just don’t warn you about.

It’s Valentine’s Day! For some it’s a time to get romantic and maybe shower your significant other with gifts. For me, it’s kinda complicated. First off I have no clue what to get my wife. All of the standard gifts either wont work or are too expensive. That and I’m just too financially practical to justify spending the money for a lot of things.
Then I get into my kids’ outright refusal to clean their bedrooms, even to the point of doing other chores that they aren’t responsible for, just so they don’t have to do the ones that they are.
Finally, another founding member of the Podfix network has announced their ending. We’re saying goodbye to “Weird With You.”

Today for NAPODPOMO we celebrate the birth of my 3rd son. No, I didn’t just have another kid. And for reference, I have 4. No, today little monster number 3 turned 6, and, apparently, he already has plans for what we’re doing to celebrate.

It has been a hectic couple of weeks around the “Odd” house. Between getting sick (again) and crazy weather, I have gotten behind on some housework. Of course, the boys aren’t about to stop adding more to that list of headaches. On top of that, I’ve got a full load of “BS From the News” ranging from fake kidnappings to questionable drug testing.
