I know I promised an Epic Film Guys guest spot this week, but sometimes schedules don’t work out the best. I get into why I’ve got 2 shows that dropped this week,  and I share my experience from just a few days ago with my 4 year old and a scorpion. I’ve also got an SMF News break from Mike Jolitz and a very full news segment on my own with a lot of tales of YouTube doctoring. And finally in recommended listening, I’ve got a very funny straightforward movie podcast featuring 2 movie professionals from Australia, “We Watched A Thing.

English schools have begun removing analog clocks from classrooms because that’s students can’t read them. The prevalence of time in a digital format has today’s generation unable to read time in an analog format.

 

A Tennessee woman was forced to give birth in a hotel bathtub in Istanbul while flying to Germany. The woman, who only recently discovered was six months pregnant, watched videos on YouTube to figure out what she needed to do to deliver the baby successfully.

 

A woman in the UK, with size F breast implants, decided she no longer wanted to have them, but could not afford the $4000 removal surgery. After reading up on the procedure and watching videos on YouTube, she used an ice pack and a box cutter to remove her unwanted silicone implants.

 

A Russian woman, who wanted to get cosmetic facial fillers, decided that instead of going to a trained professional, she would just have her friend do it. Her friend, an accountant, injected an unknown amount of an unknown filler into her face resulting in extreme swelling and multiple ruptures of her lips.

George Zimmerman Allegedly Threatened to Feed Private Investigator to Alligator

George Zimmerman, the man most known for his acquittal in the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012, is now facing stalking charges after he harassed and threatened a private investigator working on a documentary about Trayvon Martin’s death. Besides hundreds of threatening texts, phone calls, and voicemails left on the investigator’s phone, Zimmerman also left at least one message saying that anybody who messes with his family will be fed to alligators.
