November is National Podcast Post Month (NAPODPOMO), and I’ve decided once again to accept the challenge of posting up a new episode of the podcast every single day for the entire 30 days.
For the sake of my sanity, and at the suggestion of friends, I decided to skip releasing the regular format weekly episodes throughout this period.
November is National Podcast Post Month, which once again means that I’ll be doing a new episode every day for the full 30 days. (Hopefully)
I’m thinking this time I may try to do something different. Send me topics, send me questions, I may even try having a guest or 2 throughout the month.
For Day 2 of NAPODPOMO I’m geeking out a bit as I talk about my decision to purchase a new audio interface for my podcasting/ voiceover setup at 4 am after seeing a very positive review on YouTube from Bandrew Scott of Podcastage.
For Day 3 of NAPODPOMO I’m surrounded by my kids, because it’s a Saturday and they don’t want to leave me alone long enough to record this. Today we went to the Phoenix Pagan Pride Festival and got to see some pretty cool and fun things, as well as meet the hosts of the Millennial Pagan Podcast. I may get more in depth as to the full experience at the event later, if my wife decides to join me for tomorrow’s show. But for now, it’s back to work I go. Thank you and goodnight!
For Day 4 I just sat down with my two littlest boys, Bug (4) and Sam (3) and let them, mostly Bug, go wild for a bit. Warning, Sam does get a bit loud and nearly eat the mic at one point.
Day 5 of National Podcast Post month has me thinking the whole darn thing may be cursed. Much like the illness that quite literally plagued me last November, I am finding myself once again under fire from a sinus infection. Last year a sinus infection death spiraled into a series of illnesses that left me out of work for weeks and with 2 broken ribs.
Then again, this may just be a case of the seasons changing and allergies acting up… Naaaaa, I’m going with a curse.
Day 6 and the curse has continued. I’m full on sick, but that’s just the way that goes sometimes. I’ve got a preview of Wednesday’s ODO 126, with a news story about “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and the Satanic Temple. And In Recommended Listening, I’ll be featuring the Millennial Pagan podcast. Hopefully I don’t drop dead from illness before then, so maaaaybe, I’ll catch you tomorrow.
Day 7, and I’m just too sick to do the regular show today. If you recall, I went in to work last night, despite being as sick as I am. That was a huge mistake. I should have just called out. I spent the better part of the night in misery and didn’t get home until about 3 am. On my way home I loaded up with all the vitamin C and dietary aids I could to help me get over this crude, and I hope to have it all pushed out by tomorrow. Here’s hoping.
For Day 8 I’ve decided to forego the regular show this week and just give you the segments that would have gone in through the rest of the week, starting with today’s BS From The News.
-The Satanic Temple Sues Netflix for $150 Million
Day 9 falls on a Friday, and in the Twitter-verse that means its #FF Follow Friday. So what better day to do this week’s Recommended Listening feature, the Millennial Pagan podcast.
“Millennial Pagan Podcast is a voice to the growing number of Pagan Millennials and our brand of Witchcraft, Magic, Practice, and Worship. Our goal is to explore the future of Paganism through the tough and controversial topics that effect Pagans, Witches, Polytheists, and Occultists in our ever-changing world. Promoting a peaceful understanding of Paganism in media. “
NAPODPOMO Day 10 and I’ve managed to get the rest of the family sick. I think that about covers it, yeah.
